We're a private sole-owner office and have been providing excellent, concierge-style medicine for over 50 years. Advancing Healthcare Knowledge and Skills Clinical Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in outpatient setting
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within electronic health systems
• Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with minor surgical procedures in outpatient setting
• Manage patient flow by communicating and coordinating with medical providers and staff
• Provide education to patients
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients

Administrative Duties:

• Using EHR
• Updating and filing patient medical records
• Filing Prior Authorizations/Referrals
• Coordinate lab results with Medical Providers and patient f/u and communication
• Scheduling f/u appointments Requirements
• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
• Previous experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding medical terminology
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous, but training and support will be provided
