Job Description
We are looking for a certified Medical Assistant for a new location. It will be a start-up practice and the Medical Assistant will need to be versatile and comfortable in the roles of front office as well as back office. Familiarity with the electronic medical records system, eCW is a plus. The candidate will be a part of the development team and assist the general surgeon in some marketing and promotional activities as well. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT terminology, insurance billing, collection of co-pays and co-insurances, prior authorizations requests, checking eligibility, etc is necessary.
