Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (Back Office) to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult patients, strong teamwork skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities. Bilingual skills in Vietnamese are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to adult patients Room patients and assist with clinical workflows Process prior authorizations and order labs and diagnostic imaging Contact patients regarding lab results and follow-up care Assist providers with Pap smears and minor in-office procedures Handle medication refill requests efficiently Take and document patient histories and vital signs Prepare patients for examinations and treatments Administer immunizations as directed by the provider Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and exam rooms Support physicians during patient visits and procedures
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required) 2-3 years of back office medical assistant experience Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program EMR experience preferred; Practice Fusion familiarity is a plus Strong customer service and teamwork skills Must be detail-oriented , organized, and a quick learner Bilingual in
