We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in our small and friendly clinic. No experience necessary. Cantonese and/or Mandarin speaking a big plus.

The successful candidate will have:

Bilingual skills in English and Chinese/ Cantonese Strong interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task Ability to fulfill expected responsibilities and tasks with minimal oversight Attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work well within a team

Responsibilities:

Patient registration, checking-in and checking-out patients Placing patient in the examination room and taking vital signs Perform administrative tasks in the office Be able to answer high volume of phone calls Communicate with patients in a friendly manner while properly documenting their conditions Obtain and follow through on authorizations for HMO patients Check insurance eligibility Collect payments by cash, check, or credit card Other tasks as needed
