We are searching for a reliable Medical Assistant Full Time (M-F 8 AM to 5 PM) to help keep our subspecialty cardiology practice running efficiently. Our Medical Assistants work directly with healthcare practice staff and patients, maintain patient records, receive patient telephone calls, record histories and vital signs, obtain electrocardiograms, and assist in basic examinations, including exercise stress tests.

Certified Medical Assistant Duties:

Greet and escort patients to examination room. Take subjective and interim history from patients, record accurately in the electronic record. Obtain vital signs and record electrocardiogram in preparation for examination. Maintain clean patient areas, with attention to post-COVID-19 cleanliness standards. Stock medical supplies. Answer and return phone calls to patients, facilitate medications refills. Interact and communicate with other medical professionals.

Certified Medical Assistant Requirements:

Current Medical Assistant Certificate. Current BLS CPR Certificate. AA Degree. Fluency in spoken and written English. Courteous and cheerful disposition. Ability to maintain fast work pace.

From $24.00 per hour
