Medical Assistant - San Mateo Full-Time | Monday-Thursday | Bilingual English/Spanish NMCI Medical Clinic, Inc. is a multidisciplinary healthcare practice providing care in Occupational Medicine, Primary Care, Interventional Pain Management, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. We have clinic locations throughout Northern California and are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our San Mateo clinic. This is a full-time position with a regular Monday through Thursday schedule, with occasional Fridays at another NMCI location based on staffing needs. Position Responsibilities In this position, you will work closely with 1-2 providers and play a key role in the day-to-day managing operations of a small clinic. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership of clinic workflow, and ensuring both patient care and administrative responsibilities are handled efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting and preparing patients for their appointments Taking and documenting vital signs and patient histories Assisting physicians with examinations and procedures Administering injections as directed Scheduling patient appointments and answering phone calls Maintaining accurate patient information and medical records Ensuring smooth operations of a small medical clinic Assisting with other clinical and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Fluency in both English and Spanish required 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred Ability to work independently Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Experience with EMR/EHR Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional and courteous communication skills and dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance

Pay:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
