Job Description

  • Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to medical staff and ensure efficient patient care in a Urgent Care/Primary care setting.
  • Duties:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications under the direction of physicians
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts
  • Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups
  • Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling tests and referrals
  • Collaborate with the Patient Service team to ensure excellent patient care
  • Utilize knowledge of medical terminology in daily tasks
  • Requirements:
  • Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Familiarity with eCW (EMR)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in an Urgent Care and Primary Care
  • Knowledge of medical practices and procedures
