Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to medical staff and ensure efficient patient care in a Urgent Care/Primary care setting.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups
- Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling tests and referrals
- Collaborate with the Patient Service team to ensure excellent patient care
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology in daily tasks
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with eCW (EMR)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in an Urgent Care and Primary Care
- Knowledge of medical practices and procedures
