Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits Document patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and maintain detailed medical records following HIPAA guidelines Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling administrative support tasks related to medical records and billing Assist with ICD coding and medical documentation to ensure precise coding for billing and insurance purposes Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring a comfortable experience during visits Experience Prior experience in medical office settings with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation practices preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support clinical tasks effectively Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their career in healthcare while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
