In this role, you will provide Responsibilities Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical histories, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) Perform vital signs measurement and creating patient encounter note for provider in accordance with departmental protocols Support physicians with procedures such as medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection Manage medical documentation accurately, including ICD coding, radiology orders orders, referrals management, and detailed charting of patient encounters Patient phone calls for results and scheduling appointments as needed Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to medical assisting or specialized areas are a plus Other duties as assigned by supervisor Skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Certified medical assistant
Pay:
$22.50 - $25.00 per hour
