My name is Dr. Kellie Satterfield, MD and I'm looking to hire the right person to be my 'right hand' in clinic and with procedures. As my practice has grown, I am in need of more help to keep up with demand! Looking for someone personable, detail-oriented, mature, proactive, a great multitasker, and who is eager to join and help grow my Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Practice that treats a combination of cosmetic and insurance patients. What We're Looking For Great communicator with excellent vocabulary, spelling, and grammar a must Cosmetic clinic or concierge experience 2+ years experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent preferred Surgical or procedural experience preferred Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment Background in luxury goods/sales or hospitality a plus. Must not be averse to working around eyes or helping with surgery!
Key Responsibilities Clinical Support :
Assist the physician during patient exams, minor procedures, and post-operative care. Prepare and sterilize instruments, exam rooms, and equipment. Conduct basic ophthalmic testing and diagnostic imaging. Assist with insurance prior authorizations.
Patient Care :
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and follow-ups. Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients. Act as a patient liaison to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed promptly. Give surgical quotes
Administrative Duties :
Answer phone calls and emails, manage patient inquiries, and schedule consultations. Collect and input patient medical histories, insurance information, and consents. Process billing and verify insurance details as needed.
Scribing and Documentation :
Navigate the electronic medical record (EMR). Accurately document the physician's notes during patient consultations and procedures.
Team Collaboration :
Support the front desk staff with check-ins, check-outs, and payments. Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all patients. Excellent Customer Service is our top priority. Why Join Us?
