MEDICAL ASSISTANT

; Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.

availability is mandatory. Saturday 8:30am-1pm; other shifts may range from 8:30am-5pm or 8:30am-1pm. Approximately 17-20.5 hours per week. The Medical Assistant has an important role on the team and serves as the assistant to the Doctor, RN's, and Aesthetician. The Medical Assistant will assist the Physician and RN with a variety of treatments including, but not limited to, Laser hair removal, CO2 laser, Tattoo Removal, Micro-needling, Dermal Filler and Botox etc. The Medical Assistant is required to perform the following duties:

• Draw blood, draw injectable nutrients, perform subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, and understand and perform unit conversions.
• Room clients in prepared treatment rooms and let the provider know of their arrival
• Coordinates patient care with the physician, including but not limited to the use of topical medications, pre and post-procedure care instructions, and patient compliance concerns.
• Photographs clients before and after procedures
• Maintains treatment rooms stocked with all necessary medical supplies, linens and follows proper sanitization protocol.
• Maintains and ensures current patient records detailing treatment procedures, products, medications, and educational information when required and complies with all HIPAA regulations.
• Takes care of equipment and ensures proper operation and calibration, including cleaning, and reports any such issues directly to management.
• Participates and attends in-service programs/training and staff meetings.
