Primary Care Location:
Templeton, CA Contract:
13 Weeks with possibility of extension
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 5×8s
Shift:
8:00 AM-4:00
PM Hours:
40 hours/week
Pay:
$30/hr Overview We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to support the Primary Care clinic . The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and technical support under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers and help ensure efficient patient flow and quality patient care. The ideal candidate must be able to stay on task, prioritize responsibilities, and understand the sense of urgency required in a busy primary care environment. Job Duties Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient check-in Obtain and document patient vital signs Report significant findings and patient observations to providers Perform venipuncture as ordered Perform audiometry and vision testing Maintain patient recall systems and continuity-of-care logs Assist with lab tests, referrals, and transfers Support providers with routine clinical procedures Maintain accurate patient documentation Communicate effectively with providers and the healthcare team Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience EPIC experience•
REQUIRED
High school diploma/GED or equivalent BLS•Healthcare Provider certification•
REQUIRED
CMA, RMA, or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred Audiometry and vision testing training/certification preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and stay focused in a fast-paced clinic Must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and ability to stay on task
Pay:
$30.00 per hour
