Monday•Friday | 8:00 AM•5:00

Pay Rate:
$25•26/hour Position Overview A busy specialty clinic in West Covina is seeking Medical Assistants to support either the OBGYN department. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and experienced in providing back-office clinical support in an outpatient setting.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program ( Certificate) 3-5 years of current outpatient or clinic Medical Assistant experience Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe) Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese preferred, but not required Preferred Experience by Specialty-OBGYN Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication information Prepare patients for provider exams and assist with office procedures Administer injections, medications, and treatments as directed Perform pre-visit planning and maintain accurate patient documentation Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and assist with patient follow-up Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality Stock exam rooms and ensure clinical areas remain clean and organized

$26.00 per hour
