$23.00 - $26.00 / Hour Apply For This Job Overview Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting in the region. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support patient care through hands-on clinical duties and excellent patient interactions, all within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient flow Schedule appointments and answer phones to coordinate patient care Take patient vital signs and document accurately in electronic medical records Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures Administer vaccines and other clinical support tasks as needed Assist with fee collection and dispensing in the health center Maintain a positive relationship with staff and patients to support health education and outreach efforts Required Skills Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship exposure Strong proficiency in venipuncture, phlebotomy, and electronic medical records (EMR) Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills with patients Strong computer skills and ability to handle administrative tasks Additional Skills & Requirements Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred Experience working with patients ages 2 and above Validity in performing phlebotomy/venipuncture and fee collection in a clinical setting Schedule flexibility within specified hours, including coverage during weekdays Take the next step in your healthcare career by applying today and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate and efficient clinical support.
