Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine and Sports Medicine practice. This vital role combines front-office administrative support with clinical assistance, ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Collect and verify patient information, including medical history, vital signs, and insurance details Assist with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and supporting procedures in the office Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and patient communication to ensure smooth clinic flow Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with privacy regulations and clinic protocols Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology Experience working in healthcare offices Proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support tools Ability to perform intake assessments, measure vital signs accurately, and support medication administration procedures Phlebotomy experience is advantageous but training may be available Excellent patient service skills Spanish language skills a plus Join us in delivering outstanding healthcare by providing compassionate patient care while supporting our clinical team.
