Practice Manager Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for one of our fast-paced OB/GYN practices. As a Medical Assistant, you will be expected to complete intake for our patients, coordinate care plans and work with our providers in fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments, prepare patient charts & understand intake process when rooming patients. Responsible for rooming patients and obtaining medical history, medications, chief complaints and transferring the information into the patients' chart. Accountable for stocking and cleaning exam rooms between each visit. Prepare and assist with medical procedures ranging from IUD insertions to colposcopies and endometrial biopsies. Sterilization of instruments in the morning, evening and after patient procedures. Process lab orders and package specimens following office protocol. Adhere to OSHA lab compliance by completing logs, sterilizing medical equipment, monitoring vaccine temperatures and ensure Appropriately handle and escalate urgent result calls coming in for providers Monitor inventory of medical supplies and stock supplies when they are delivered to the office. Crosstrain and cover front desk as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

CMA or RMA required 1 year MA experience, OBGYN preferred Must be proficient on a computer and familiar with EMR. Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate well.
