40 hours per week, 8:30a to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch

Pay:

$19-$24 per hour, depending on experience About the Position We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Temporary Medical Assistant to join our pediatric office for an approximately 8-week assignment while a current staff member is on a leave of absence. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with patients ranging from newborns through 22 years of age and will provide attentive, accurate, and family-friendly care in a busy pediatric office setting. Pediatric medical assistant experience is preferred. Responsibilities Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, including weight, length and head circumeference Perform routine office-based testing, including: throat swabs for strep testing, nasal swabs for influenza and

COVID-19

testing, finger-stick testing for hemoglobin Assist with patient flow and room preparation Prepare examination rooms and maintain clean, organized clinical areas Provide a welcoming and compassionate experience for pediatric patients and their families Follow office protocols for infection control, patient safety, and documentation Qualifications Medical Assistant experience required Pediatric experience preferred Comfortable working with patients from newborn through young adulthood Ability to obtain accurate vital signs and perform routine clinical testing Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment Reliable and dependable Schedule & Compensation 40 hours per week 8-week temporary position $19-$24 per hour , based on experience If you enjoy working with children and families and are looking for a temporary opportunity in a pediatric healthcare setting, we would love to hear from you!
