Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care with administrative and clinical job duties. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to our patients while ensuring efficient clinic operations. •There is travel required to satellite locations, candidate must have reliable transporation and be willing to travel to other office sites•Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Perform intake assessments, and documenting medical history Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation Utilize EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments Provide exceptional patient service, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy Support various departments including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency medicine as needed Conduct basic life support measures when necessary Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and assist in the operating room when required Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding Qualifications Strong understanding of medical administrative support tasks and patient care protocols Knowledge of EHR systems for effective patient documentation Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient information Join our team as a Medical Assistant where you can make a difference in the lives of patients while advancing your career in the healthcare field.
