Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Equipment Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operations across various industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art tools and technologies while contributing to the seamless functioning of our fleet and machinery. Duties Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension adjustments, and hydraulic system servicing to maximize equipment uptime. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using welding and power tools to meet specific operational needs. Repair and overhaul transmissions, axles, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize heavy equipment operation skills for troubleshooting and testing repairs on machinery. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues related to vehicle systems including air brake systems, alignment, hydraulics, and electrical components. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform vehicle inspections to identify potential safety concerns or maintenance requirements. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy truck repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and service technology for automotive diagnostics and repairs. Ability to read complex schematics and technical manuals for precise troubleshooting of vehicle systems. Experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other industrial machinery. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members or clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs. Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 50.0 per week
