  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting medical staff and ensuring a high level of patient care. This position involves working in various medical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and urgent care facilities. The Medical Assistant will assist with patient intake, perform basic clinical tasks, and provide exceptional patient service.
  • Duties
  • Answer phones and messages from patients
  • Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting medical histories.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic or hospital.
  • Educate patients on medication usage, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Skills
  • Experience in behavioral health, primary care, psychiatry and neurology is preferred.
  • Strong patient service skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families.
  • Proficient in using computer and electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to diverse patient populations.
  • Willingness to learn and cross train on other positions.
  • May require some evening hours on certain days.
