Position Overview Deaconess Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Bonita Springs, Florida. This full-time position is situated in a vibrant rehabilitation center, where you will play a crucial role in implementing customized treatment programs for patients, contributing to their overall recovery and well-being. Work Environment Our Bonita Springs location provides an engaging and supportive work environment where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The rehabilitation center is equipped with modern facilities and cutting-edge technology, creating an ideal space for delivering high-quality care. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Deaconess, your core responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine the appropriate treatment plans. Implementing and adapting personalized treatment programs based on individual patient needs and progress. Providing hands-on therapy and utilizing advanced techniques to promote recovery and restore function. Delivering exceptional customer service and actively participating in a team-oriented approach to enhance patient outcomes. Engaging in regular consultations and educational sessions with patients and caregivers, empowering them with knowledge about their conditions and treatments. Maintaining detailed and accurate records of patient progress, meeting minimum utilization goals and business objectives. Patient Population / Client Focus The patient demographics at our rehabilitation center are diverse, encompassing various specialty areas including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine. As a Physical Therapist, you will be tasked with addressing a wide range of conditions and assisting patients of different ages and backgrounds in achieving their recovery goals. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Current state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapist. A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Current CPR certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster strong patient relationships. Proficient in computer skills for documentation and reporting. A commitment to establishing meaningful connections with patients that help them exceed their rehabilitation goals. A positive attitude and a genuine desire to support community health. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with experience in specialized rehabilitation areas or who have completed professional development training in advanced therapeutic techniques will be highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and outcome measurement tools will also enhance your candidacy. Compensation and Benefits This full-time role comes with a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
