We are looking for a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Medical Assistant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position will work closely with our providers and clinical team to support efficient patient flow, perform clinical testing and procedures, and help ensure an excellent patient experience from arrival through completion of the visit. What You'll Do Patient Care & Clinical Support Room patients and prepare them for their visit Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, allergies, and other relevant clinical information Prepare exam rooms and patients for provider evaluations Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with patient care and in-office procedures as needed Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the office Provide patients with instructions and education as directed by the clinical team Testing & Procedures Perform and assist with outpatient EEG testing, including patient preparation and electrode placement, following established protocols and training Administer Creyos cognitive assessments and ensure testing is completed accurately Assist with other neurologic diagnostic testing and in-office procedures as trained and assigned Accurately document testing, procedures, and clinical information in the EMR Clinical Operations Clean, prepare, and restock exam and procedure rooms Maintain appropriate clinical supplies and notify leadership when inventory needs to be replenished Follow infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and patient-safety requirements Assist with clinical documentation, medical records, patient messages, and care coordination as needed Work collaboratively with providers and other team members to support the day-to-day needs of the practice What We're Looking For 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferred, ideally in an outpatient physician or specialty practice Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) Strong clinical skills, including patient intake and vital signs Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology EEG, neurology, or diagnostic testing experience is a plus, but training can be provided Phlebotomy experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to learn new clinical procedures and technology Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a growing clinical team Ask Health Brain & Body Wellness provides outpatient neurologic and wellness services with a focus on accessible, high-quality, patient-centered care.
