Job Description
Our office is looking for a passionate, hard-working Medical Assistant to join our team! Registered OR Certified Medical Assistant or even a Phlebotomist would also be considered. MA Duties would include but are not limited to rooming patients, obtaining vitals, performing venipunctures, injections (IM, SC, ID), EKGs, UAs, neb treatments, ear irrigation, wound care, suture removals, and assisting providers with various procedures such as PAP smears. Administrative duties would include but are not limited to answering phones, taking detailed messages, scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, completing referrals, prepping charts, and completing patient paperwork. EMR experience a plus. Previous experience a must. We are a fast paced facility and need someone who is a team player and willing to go above and beyond for our patients.
