•Primary Care PrimeCare of Coral Gables | Coral Gables, FL PrimeCare of Coral Gables is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our established primary care practice. Our office has served the Coral Gables community since the 1980s and currently includes six providers caring for adult patients (18+) across commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage plans. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a team environment and providing high-quality care to patients. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable in a well-organized, fast-paced primary care setting and takes pride in supporting both physicians and patients. Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs Perform EKGs Administer injections and immunizations Perform point-of-care testing Assist providers with minor procedures Administrative Responsibilities Document patient information in eClinicalWorks (ECW) Manage patient messages and medication refill requests Assist with general clinical workflow and patient coordination Medical assistants typically room and prepare approximately 15 patients per day. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred Prior experience in primary care or internal medicine preferred Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment Professional communication and patient care skills About PrimeCare of Coral Gables PrimeCare of Coral Gables is a well-established primary care practice that has served the community for decades.
