Clinical Responsibilities Welcome and room patients in a professional and friendly manner. Obtain and accurately document vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations. Assist providers during patient visits and minor in-office procedures. Assist with laboratory and diagnostic orders. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms. Support efficient patient flow throughout the day. Clinical Documentation Responsibilities Gather meaningful patient information before the provider enters the exam room. Begin documenting patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EHR). Assist providers by preparing portions of the medical note for provider review and completion. Ensure documentation is organized, accurate, and supports high-quality patient care. Work closely with providers to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required. Strong computer and typing skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, responsible, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required
