Clinical Documentation Assistant Location:
Crawfordville, FL Join a Practice That Invests in Your Growth! Tallahassee Enhanced Care is a physician-owned primary care practice seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Crawfordville office. We are looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and excited to become an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team. Our providers enjoy teaching and mentoring. If you're interested in expanding your clinical knowledge, developing strong documentation skills, and growing professionally in a supportive environment, we'd love to meet you. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing a long-term career in healthcare, including those interested in nursing, physician assistant, or medical school, who are looking for meaningful hands-on experience in both patient care and clinical documentation. Clinical Responsibilities Welcome and room patients in a professional and friendly manner. Obtain and accurately document vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations. Assist providers during patient visits and minor in-office procedures. Assist with laboratory and diagnostic orders. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms. Support efficient patient flow throughout the day. Clinical Documentation Responsibilities Gather meaningful patient information before the provider enters the exam room. Begin documenting patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EHR). Assist providers by preparing portions of the medical note for provider review and completion. Ensure documentation is organized, accurate, and supports high-quality patient care. Work closely with providers to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required. Strong computer and typing skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, responsible, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required
Schedule Monday, Wednesday:
7:45 AM - 5:00
PM Friday:
7:45 AM - 1:00 PM No weekends Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $18.00/hour We provide paid, hands-on training to help new team members become confident in both clinical responsibilities and medical documentation. As you demonstrate proficiency, efficiency, and independence in both patient care and clinical documentation, you'll become eligible for compensation increases based on performance and continued professional growth.
