Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a friendly, highly communicative, and detail-oriented Medical assistant/ Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role serves as a key liaison between patients and providers, ensuring patients clearly understand available services, care plans, and next steps while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression Build positive relationships with patients and ensure a high-quality experience Clearly explain available services, procedures, and care options Answer patient questions and address concerns with confidence and empathy Follow up with patients regarding consultations, treatments, and post-care instructions Assist patients with appointment scheduling and coordination Support patients throughout their visit to ensure comfort and satisfaction Maintain patient confidentiality and handle all information in compliance with HIPAA Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred) Prior experience in a healthcare, medical office, or patient-facing role preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and empathetically Comfort presenting services and answering patient questions Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Professional, patient-centered, and team-oriented attitude English required, Spanish is a plus
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
