In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support in outpatient settings, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities Take and record vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and prepare patients for examinations or procedures. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories, notes, and treatment plans. Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient records. Conduct patient intake assessments, including collecting medical histories and updating medication lists with accuracy. Assist with medication administration under supervision and ensure proper handling of pharmaceuticals in compliance with safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized medical office environment while adhering to infection control standards and safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience in medical office settings with knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Hands-on experience in outpatient care, emergency medicine, or hospital environments; experience is highly desirable. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or EMR/EHR management are preferred. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), medical documentation standards, and medical records management. Ability to perform clinical duties such as vital signs collection, specimen collection (phlebotomy), and assisting with minor procedures.
