• We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist/Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical office. Your primary job duties will include answering questions, processing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. You will also help keep our records and work areas clean and organized, as well as ensure our office provides a welcoming environment for our patients. Medical Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary Distribute forms via email and paperwork to patients and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly Field phone calls and respond to emails Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering Medical Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a certificate program in the medical field preferred 1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role Familiar with medical terminology Excellent organizational and time management skills Occasional Medical Assistant Provides medical assistant coverage on an as-needed basis when the primary Medical Assistant is absent or unavailable. Responsibilities may include assisting with patient intake, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, documenting information, and providing general clinical and administrative support as directed by the provider. Taking vital signs, assisting with exams, EKG Medical terminology, scheduling, insurance, HIPAA/OSHA compliance, electronic health records Completion of a certificate program in the medical field preferred 1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
