Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by documenting medical information accurately and maintaining comprehensive medical records. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all supplies are stocked for efficient clinic operations. Support patient care by providing clear instructions on procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Collaborate with hospital medicine teams or outpatient clinics to coordinate patient flow, manage appointments, and facilitate communication between patients and providers. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in diverse settings Pediatrics, urgent care, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support accurate clinical procedures. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with diverse populations. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments like emergency medicine or hospital settings while maintaining attention to detail.
