Your expertise in pediatric physiology, medical assisting, and administrative support will help create a welcoming environment that promotes health and healing for children of all ages. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision and care Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit Administer vaccinations, vision screening, hearing test, labs such as urinalysis and hemoglobin testing. Manage medical documentation accurately, including detailed charting in EMR/EHR system Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards Requirements Proven experience in medical office settings with a focus on pediatrics Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR management, ICD coding, and medical documentation practices Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and their families Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Must be a team player
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
