  • Support both front and back office operations, including greeting and rooming patients
  • Schedule patient appointments and answer phones efficiently
  • Take patient vital signs and document accurately
  • Draw blood and perform venipuncture procedures
  • Administer vaccines in accordance with healthcare protocols
  • Provide additional clinical support as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team to foster a positive patient experience Required Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship experience
  • Valid Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
  • Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Attention to detail in clinical documentation and procedures
  • Effective communication skills to interact with patients and team members
  • Strong computer skills for data entry and administrative tasks Additional Skills & Requirements
  • Certification or licensure as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred
  • Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional lunch coverage
  • A passion for health education and outreach, with a desire to make a difference in community health
