- Support both front and back office operations, including greeting and rooming patients
- Schedule patient appointments and answer phones efficiently
- Take patient vital signs and document accurately
- Draw blood and perform venipuncture procedures
- Administer vaccines in accordance with healthcare protocols
- Provide additional clinical support as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team to foster a positive patient experience Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship experience
- Valid Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Attention to detail in clinical documentation and procedures
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and team members
- Strong computer skills for data entry and administrative tasks Additional Skills & Requirements
- Certification or licensure as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred
- Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional lunch coverage
- A passion for health education and outreach, with a desire to make a difference in community health
