The ideal candidate will have experience in family or internal medicine. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic or hospital environment. Responsibilities Perform intake procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses. Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record management and data entry. Conduct basic life support as needed and maintain current certifications. Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Understand and apply medical terminology in daily tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinical environment. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Experience in primary care is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with EHR systems for effective patient record management. Basic life support certification must be current. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and care. Ability to work effectively in a busy practice. Experience in outpatient clinics advantageous. Phlebotomy skills
