The ideal candidate will enjoy working with patients of all ages and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include checking in and rooming patients, taking calls, calling patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, assisting providers with exams and minor procedures, administering blood withdrawals, injections and vaccines, performing EKGs, PFTs, ABIs, and other point-of-care testing as needed, coordinating referrals and prescription refills, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms and office. Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, a positive and professional attitude, and the ability to multitask while providing outstanding patient care. Previous experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred, and Medical Assistant certification is a plus, medical assisting experience is required.
