Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as vital signs and prescription refills
- Administer medications and injections under the direction of a physician
- Handle medical instruments and equipment with care
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort
- Perform medical administrative tasks as needed such as labor inductions, IUD ordering
- Schedule patients for appointments and scan paperwork
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience with medication administration and patient care
- Ability to accurately record and report patient information
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
