Responsibilities Warmly greet patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and ensure efficient check‑in and check‑out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature to assist clinicians with patient evaluations. Support clinical procedures by preparing exam rooms, assisting with medication administration, and aiding in specimen collection when needed. Conduct patient intake by gathering medical histories, documenting symptoms accurately, and ensuring all relevant information is properly entered into the EHR. Maintain accurate ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding for diagnoses and procedures to support compliant billing and documentation. Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, responding to patient inquiries, and coordinating referrals, follow‑up visits, and prior authorizations. Qualifications Previous experience in a healthcare environment—such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency departments—is highly preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding to ensure accurate documentation. Proven ability to perform both administrative and clinical tasks effectively within a fast‑paced setting. Experience working with EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and patient communication. Excellent communication and patient service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
