Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and Gynecology procedures Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready Take and record patient vital signs accurately Collect patient medical histories and update electronic health records Administer basic clinical tasks such as injections, lab tests, or specimen collection as directed by medical staff Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and guiding patients through their visit Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas in compliance with safety standards Support administrative duties including filing, data entry, and managing patient documentation Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical assisting certification is preferred Prior experience in a women's health care setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards patients Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Basic knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and electronic health records systems Willingness to learn and grow within the role, with future potential to transition to full-time employment with benefits This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.
