We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and experienced Medical Assistant .
Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties Patient Rooming:
Welcome patients, escort them to exam rooms, and prepare them for the provider.
Vitals & Intake:
Accurately take and record patient vitals, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight.
Documentation:
Review and document patient medical history, current medications, and chief complaints in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Administrative & Coordination Duties Prior Authorizations:
Efficiently navigate insurance portals and compile documentation to secure approvals for medications, treatments, and imaging.
Patient Communications:
Manage incoming and outgoing patient messages via the patient portal and handle phone calls regarding scheduling, instructions, and follow-ups.
Care Coordination:
Act as a primary liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus, but equivalent clinical experience will be considered.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with EHR systems and standard office software; experience with insurance verification and prior authorization workflows is highly valued.
Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional communication, empathy, and a strong work ethic. Ability to multi-task between clinical rooming and focused desk tasks.

Competitive starting pay: $20-$23 per hour (based on experience)

Monday-Thursday, 8-hour day shifts
