Non-Exempt Position Summary The Medical Assistant supports the clinical team by providing direct patient care assistance for a pediatrics office, performing clinical and administrative duties, and ensuring efficient patient flow. This role requires accuracy, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills to assist both patients and providers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs, and document medical history. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Administer immunizations and medications as directed by providers. Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and compliant with infection control standards. Support front office operations as needed to ensure smooth patient flow. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred. 1+ years of experience in a medical office setting strongly preferred.
