Cardiology We are seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Assistant to join our cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a cardiology setting and be comfortable using eClinicalWorks (eCW) for electronic medical records. Responsibilities Assist physicians and clinical staff with daily patient care and clinical duties. Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, medications, and other pertinent information. Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing. Perform EKGs and other clinical duties as appropriate. Assist with scheduling, referrals, prescription requests, and patient communications. Accurately document patient information in eClinicalWorks (eCW) . Review and update patient charts and medication lists. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor with patients. Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies and procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and efficient exam rooms and clinical areas. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required. Cardiology experience strongly preferred/required. Previous experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) required. Knowledge of cardiology terminology, procedures, and workflows. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced medical office. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to patient care. Medical Assistant certification preferred. Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
