We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team at Phillip State Prison. - Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical assessments
- Support nurses and providers with treatments, procedures, and medication-related tasks within scope
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
- Prepare exam areas and ensure proper stocking of supplies
- Follow all infection control, safety, and facility protocols
- Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to nursing staff
- Support continuity of care between day and night shift teams Qualifications (Required)
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
