Full-Time Medical Assistant Primary Care Center | Jasper Health Services, Inc. The Primary Care Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our physician office team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, working closely with healthcare providers, and being part of a team dedicated to serving our community. What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside our providers and clinical team to support the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Greet patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medication information, and other clinical information Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures Perform clinical tasks within applicable training and scope of practice Prepare examination rooms and maintain appropriate supplies and equipment Assist with medication reconciliation and prescription-related requests as directed Coordinate laboratory testing, diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up care Communicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and provider-directed information Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record Assist with telephone calls, patient messages, and other clinical communications Follow infection prevention, patient safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements Work collaboratively with providers, nurses, office staff, and other members of the healthcare team What We're Looking For Medical Assistant training or previous experience in a physician office or outpatient clinical setting preferred Medical Assistant certification or credential preferred Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records preferred A dependable, professional team member who is committed to providing an excellent patient experience
