Job Description
Medical Assistant Job Summary CMG is seeking a dedicated and very detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our multi-specialty healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in clinical and administrative tasks within a medical office setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, assisting the administrative office, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Candidates with prior medical assisting experience and familiarity with the daily operations of a medical office are highly preferred. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care and maintaining efficient clinic and administrative workflows. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with clinical duties, including preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and recording medical histories. Support providers during patient visits by providing necessary clinical assistance. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and handling paperwork efficiently. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and the medical office to uphold safety standards. Communicate effectively with patients, answering questions and providing instructions as directed by healthcare professionals. Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support the administrative office by processing medical record requests, scheduling meetings, assisting with medical coding and billing , data entry, and other miscellaneous administrative tasks as requested . Skills Proven experience in medical assisting and working within a medical office environment. Clinical procedures, including taking vital signs, assisting during examinations and administering treatments and injections. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members. Spanish-English bilingual is a plus. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Attention to detail for accurate communications, documentation, and record keeping. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs required Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient care and confidentiality. Pay:
