We are looking for an experienced, motivated Medical Assistant to support both our medical dermatology clinic and our aesthetics service line. The Role We're looking for a Medical Assistant who goes beyond the basics, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about patients, about the team, and about how the clinic runs. You'll be cross-trained across Mohs surgery, medical dermatology, and aesthetics, and you'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of a clinic area that plays to your strengths. Key Responsibilities — Medical Dermatology Clinic Room patients and present basic medical history to the provider Assist during skin exams and procedures (biopsies, excisions, etc.) Bandage and provide wound care Scribe during visits and enter notes Review after-visit care instructions with patients Maintain and organize clinic rooms Key Responsibilities — Aesthetics Set up and turn over treatment rooms for injectables, lasers, peels, and microneedling Prepare patients, apply topical numbing, and assist the provider during treatments Take consistent before-and-after clinical photography and file it correctly in the chart Review pre- and post-treatment instructions with patients and answer follow-up questions Maintain laser safety protocols and device logs Track product and injectable inventory, lot numbers, and expiration dates Support consultations and help patients understand available products and services Administrative Duties Manage patient phone messages and relay information to the provider Assist with scheduling, follow-up calls, and treatment series Check-in / check-out for cash treatments, packages, and retails products Help ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day Collaborate closely with the physician in the development and success of the clinic Preferred Experience Aesthetics (injectables, lasers, peels, microneedling, facials) Dermatology and/or Mohs surgery ModMed EMA or a similar dermatology EMR Clinical photography, social media, or marketing support is a plus Perks & Benefits Competitive pay with bonus opportunities Health and dental insurance Paid holidays, PTO, and paid sick time Free parking Staff discounts on cosmetic dermatology products and services On-the-job training and ongoing professional development A respectful, supportive team environment Who Thrives Here Our team is small, and the way we treat each other matters as much as the care we deliver.
