Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Medical Assistant to become a part of our medical team at Aloha Urgent Care & Pain Clinic ! Also, we are seeking someone who can commit at least 6 months of work to our urgent care. If you cannot commit at least 6 months, please do not apply.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone and in-person inquiries from patients Explain the insurance policy to new patients Check-in patients by guiding them through registration, measurement of vital signs and history of present illness Assist the physician in various clinical procedures Check-out patients by dispensing medications and supplies, faxing prescriptions, and arranging lab and imaging tests Collect payment from patients by using point-of-sale hardware and software Manage and document tasks pertaining to patient care, billing and accounting. Organize medical supplies Clean all spaces of the clinic to keep order and hygiene ​
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in outpatient urgent care, specialist, or primary care clinic Certificate in a Medical Assistant Program or Nursing Assistant Program, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other health care field Multitask in all administrative and clinical duties Fluency in
