Job Description

Family Practice Certified Medical Assistant Seeing a motivated, team player, to join our Mason City Iowa Specialty Clinic! This position will require knowledge of family practice care from newborn to geriatrics, as well as occupational medicine, and specialty practices. Duties will require applicant to room patients, perform injections, immunizations, EKG's, coordinate patient care, lab draws, POCT, fielding patient phone calls, prescription refill management, hearing and vision testing, N95 fit testing, assisting with joint injections, scheduling surgery, referrals, prior authorizations, wound care, and other duties as assigned. Applicant must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented and work well with clinical team.

Schedule:

Full Time 36 hour work week Monday-Friday 4 day work week No Holidays May Float to other ISH locations.

Qualifications:

2+ years of clinic experience preferred Active Certification in Medical Assisting EPIC experience preferred Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skills
