Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will support women's health, reproductive care, cardiovascular assessments, and general abdominal imaging, contributing to improved patient outcomes. Duties Operate and maintain various ultrasound imaging systems, including obstetric, gynecological, breast, vascular, echocardiography, and abdominal ultrasound equipment Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and applying aseptic techniques Capture high-quality images of anatomy and physiology for diagnostic purposes in women's health and reproductive patient care Assist physicians with specialized examinations such as maternal-fetal medicine, gynecology diagnostics, and vascular technology diagnostics Document all procedures accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including aseptic technique and proper medical equipment operation Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide clear communication regarding findings Maintain accurate records of patient data, procedure details, and imaging results for quality assurance Experience Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles Hands-on experience operating diverse medical imaging equipment Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and PACS for image storage and management Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members Ability to perform detailed vascular technology diagnostics and interpret findings accurately Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures Certification from an accredited sonography program is highly preferred Join us in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services that empower physicians to provide outstanding patient care. Pay:
$2,279.96 - $2,745.76 per week
