Job Description

Our Private Family Medicine Practice located in Crystal Lake, IL, is seeking a friendly, patient, and reliable Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team! The ideal candidate must be organized, compassionate, reliable, responsible and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming experience for our patients while ensuring the smooth operation of their care.

•This is a Full-Time (FT) position, ranging from 30-36 hours/week. Pay rate starting between $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

•Responsibilities Must have excellent communication and coordination among the care team Greets and prepares patients for examination, treatments, and procedures, as well as obtaining patient history and vital signs (weight, blood pressure, temperature, etc.) Administering vaccines and injections Performing venipuncture Triage telephone calls and prescription refills, appropriately Maintains timely flow of patients, including possible appointment delays Observes, records, and reports the patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatment to the physician. Administers medication and samples with special training and approval Proactively assists the care team in addressing the needs of the patient population Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment, including sterilization Cleans and maintains well-stocked examination, treatment, and procedure rooms Utilizes motivational interviewing techniques and patient coaching for patient self-management support Performs other related duties as appropriate Qualifications Certification as a Nursing Aide or Medical Assistant Previous experience: medical office setting is preferred Computer experience: Epic is preferred Able to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and public Sensitivity to confidential matters Bilingual is a PLUS Benefits 401K Savings Accrued PTO Sam's Club membership and more.....
