Job Highlights Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general front office support Check patients in and out, complete registration, and collect co-payments Verify insurance information and assist with other administrative tasks as needed Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs, medications, allergies, and reason for visit Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vitals, administering injections, and phlebotomy when required Candidate Profile Current CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are required Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant with a nationally recognized accrediting body preferred but not required 1+ year of relevant experience in a medical office required Relevant soft skills include communication and collaboration Additional Information Locations include Chicago (Northside), Niles, Glenview, Evanston, Skokie, IL and Northern Suburbs On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience Location Evanston Benefits Dental;Employee Assistance;Life Insurance;Long Term Disability;Medical;Paid Training/Personal Development;Parent Leave;Personal;Retirement/401K;Rx/Pharmacy Benefits;Short Term Disability;Sick;Transportation Reimbursement;Vacation;
