What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1-2-year experience as a medical assistant Must hold a CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification. Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service and attention to detail Familiarity with eCW (preferred)
What You'll Do:
Greet and room patients Perform intake procedures including vital signs and medication reconciliation; accurately enter data into the eClinicalWorks electronic medical record system Provide support during examinations as needed Prepare and draw up injections as required Give instructions or relay messages to patients as instructed by a physician Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patient's medical records before their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required Answer phone calls, take detailed messages, and respond to inquiries from patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Ability to travel to other NWN locations as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Be part of a team that values excellence, innovation, and compassionate care.
