Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. As a CMA, you will support physicians and healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Responsibilities include:
Escorting patients to exam rooms and preparing patients for examination and treatment Obtaining vitals Documenting medical history Verifying medications Recording and updating information in EMR Performing EKGs, Audiology, and Pulmonary Function Testing Administering vaccines and injections Performing CLIA waived lab tests Prior Authorizations Contacting patients with lab and test results Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
3+ years CMA experience, preferably in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems (eClinicalWorks preferred) Strong knowledge of medications, medical terminology, and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Exceptional teamwork skills Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in patient care We provide one on one training for all new staff members. No holiday or evening hours required. Full-time position. Must be available Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and 1 Saturday morning each month.
